Coming Home to Yourself Through Travel
Where is home? They say home is where the heart is, and home is where the family is, but is that true? Perhaps home is where your soul sings. Maybe it’s where you feel lighter than air. And maybe it is not where you spend the majority of your days.
In my mind, you should feel at peace when you are “home.” You should be happy and excited. How many of us feel that way at home today? Now think about the feeling of lightness and anticipation you feel as vacation begins. The happiness you feel when the cruise ship leaves port, or the plane lands at your destination, or you walk into your deluxe hotel suite. You know the feeling I mean. It’s the feeling of coming home to your spirit, to the real you. It leaves behind the bills on the desk, the broken air conditioner, the noisy neighbors. The real you resides patiently, waiting to be indulged and experienced, as you go about the mundane details of everyday life. When you break away from that routine, the humdrum, the stress….that’s when you come home to your soul. And travel is the best way to do that, in my opinion.
I would love to help you come home to yourself, to find peace, whenever life gives you the opportunity. I am a veteran traveler, with insider information on Caribbean destinations. If you pine for a cruise, or an all-inclusive vacation complete with beachside butler service, please contact me. I can arrange to send you to Tuscany or Tibet, Times Square or Tobago. The world lies at your feet. I will be thrilled to help you find your way back to the real you. Then, after some time away, walking through your front door really is a comforting feeling, at least for a while. Then you start planning the next trip.
